Got them to the Europa League Final, not too shabby compared to his predecessors.

Thats all he did though, and he had a good go at wrecking the side which Caparros had built in the process. Look at his league placings (10th, 12th) when compared to what Caparros or Valverde have achieved.

His league placings were consistent with what they achieved in the preceding years. Not disputing that he had a meltdown though, but you seemingly dismissed him as a nothing manager and that's what I take issue with.

Under Caparros they finished 13th (after almost going down the season before), 8th, and 6th. Under Valverde they are 4th.

He was okay at Bilbao, probably their level then. He's not a particularly great club coach but internationally he has been.

Just don't dismiss El Loco as a nothing manager when his influence and impact is just too great to dismiss.

Could it be that we're wanting City to lose tonight then? Would mean beating them at Goodison would bring them right into the race for 4th

Just flicked over to this charity match at Anfield for the 96, Liverpool local legends vs International legends. It's like watching 11 Leon Osmans playing against 11 Magaye Gueyes
