To make matters worse, the Liverpool Chelsea game is slap bang between the two games against Atletico Madrid. It's in the stars for the RS, isn't it?

Exactly the point I made yesterday. No way will Jose risk Hazard or Eto'o. They'll play Lampard, Salah and Ba

It's embarrassing that some people would rather us finish 5th and Liverpool don't win the title than us getting Champions League which will progress our club further and them winning the league!!! Get your heads checked ffs! We think about ourselves not them [Poor language removed], even if we wouldn't here the end of it if they did win it! We support Everton ffs!!!

If they draw and city outscore liverpool then city win it should they win all their games, but the chances of an aging Chelsea getting anything at Anfield smack bang in the middle of the CL Semi are slim to none.

They won the league on the back of Kompany Effing up, Skrytl punching the ball out and Suarez getting away with diving
Jose has a habit of winning the big games. I wouldn't write them off.

Why?! They're two disparate points - one is Everton success, one is Liverpool success. 4th place is great as an Evertonian, but it means absolutely jot in terms of stomaching their title win.

If we finished 14th then it would be harder to take imo

We are playing some boss stuff and could get CL football so it eases the pain

Tbf that is somewhat true, cuz it'll be over everything that they won it. "The marvellous class of 2014" or something, you see, and no focus on spawny penalties/mistakes/dives/the likes...

Can see what you mean, in a way, but I'm still not arsed about them in general. They are annoying, and their fans think they're entitled to win things, so it would be funny if they lose it in the last game(s)...

Exactly, and you rate Liverpool's success higher in your care-register than you do Everton's success.

You're not the only one either. About 15% of you do (so said the poll we had).

I feel for Norwich next week. They will be absolutely petrified of playing them, you saw their siege mentality at the end in that silly little huddle, this is life or death for them. They have a massive psychological advantage over everyone they play, the sooner that captain fantastic prick retires the better. Seems like he's been 33 for the last 5 years and isn't getting any older for [Poor language removed] sake

Never a truer word spoken!
