and even if it was he got the ball well before the munich player tried to head it.

no malice what so ever his foot wasnt swung at the ball.

Nah it was up to his chin regardless, dangerous play by the letter of the law. Personally think the rule is stupid and common sense should apply but it is what it is.

Games like this where Utd has to sit back is where I thought he'd prove his usefulness. Utd playing pretty well right now.

Not about intent with that rule, it's just not allowed to bring the foot up near the head for any reason. In the Prem that probably would have stood like but it was the right call.
