We were unable to fill the gap when lukaku lost form and got injured. Another top striker and we'd be another 5-7 points better off and in contention for the league

I think some of you are getting a little ahead of yourselves. For Liverpool to win it, they'll probably have to win every remaining game (could drop 2 points, maybe). It's possible, but hardly guaranteed.

And if they do win it, they'll probably deserve it, so fair play.

It's been a great transitional season for a 2nd choice manger who is bound to fail and won't be able to get over 40 points.

The alarming thing was today the difference in work rate of the two teams. Liverpool were throwing bodies in the way of shots and putting blood sweat and tears into everything they did, it was like their lives depended on every tackle. Spurs just ambled around the pitch like it was a training session. I hope City don't fall into the trap of complacency at Anfield, like Arsenal did

I didn't laugh, I pulled a face as if in pain.

But I did send a txt to a mate straight off the bat saying I wanted some of what roberto was on.....
