I really feel sorry for Mata. Just look at him here

He's one of the good guys in football, deserves better than this. He made a mistake, and he knows it :(

way too early to say that. he's at one of the biggest clubs in the world with a very potent strikeforce, a lot of good managers could get that team to outscore anyone in the world and compete in all competitions.

he had to move otherwise he probably wouldn't be going to the world cup.

think it's fair to say united are out of the running for top 4 now though. Never thought they would, but there's no chance they'll gain 9 pts on liverpool as well as us and spurs. moyes will lose at home to the RS as well, nailed on.

swap city with arsenal and soton with newcastle and the top 10 will probably finish how they are.

still can't chose between city or chelsea though. since i put £20 in city they have predictable got 1 point from 6 and lost aguero to injury though ha.

I dont know, the ****e tend to struggle against the mid-table sides.

they don't tend too struggle against moyes.

it just strikes me as a game where he'll **** himself. then again, rodgers has never got close to getting the better of him. could be a very high scoring affair tbh.

BBC:
"Fulham had avoided defeat at United only once in 51 years - a 3-1 Premier League victory in October 2003, when Lee Clark, Steed Malbranque and Junichi Inamoto scored for the visitors"

Even with us Moyes was able to beat Fulham every time at home (except once in the cup).

Interesting to see how hard the Fulham players tried today. Roy Keane reckons these types of footballers are fakes - only turning out when the "top teams" are against them. I'd say that attitude must have frustrated Keane when he came up against it, but it's only natural to try harder when faced with a bigger obstacle. Isn't it?

Moyes looks like a man who has spent far to long in a swimming pool, his eyes have got too much chlorine in them, the vending machine won't work and the kids are just not doing what he asks them to do.

On today's form, if Liverpool played ManU today, I think they'd beat them pretty handily.

Could be a very handy game for us that. If the RS are tonking them the septic tanks will kick lumps out of them. The other way around and the RS confidence gets a knock.

Also, both managers will be desperate for the win. Could easily take their eye off the ball in other games.
