We see this every time they have a big win. What happens next game usually? Big let down for them. How many times does that have to happen before it sinks in they are very inconsistent? If United weren't so off the pace this year they wouldn't even be in the CL places. It's remarkable how many blues choose to declare these frauds as 'the real deal'. I'll remind you of that when they slip up again...I wont have to wait long I dont think.

They're currently second in the form table. It is very impressive that they've annihilated two of the best defences in the league. Of course Swansea and Sunderland will show less ambition at Anfield and won't leave the space in behind to run into but the current Liverpool side aren't limited to counter-attacking and Suarez in particular can unpick a packed defence.

Their weakness is at the back. Skrtel is as much a liability as he is an asset and Toure is less than secure. Cissokho looks pretty vulnerable too. The challenge for any team is getting at them without leaving the back door open themselves. Liverpool aren't really due to face any counter-attacking teams in the next 6 weeks though, so it would be a surprise if they dropped too many points.

Free flowing football with Holloway,
I think I missed that game!!

Excellent today. Many more attacking options, looked so much more purposeful going forward and just as solid at the back.Speroni needed to be at his best a couple of times. I thought that Vic looked pretty forlorn most of the time. We have a chance.

It has been pointed out oft times already, but against us we were missing two of our best back four and one of the ones who made it was half fit.

That's a factor but I think that our tactics played into their hands. We wanted to dominate possession and play out from the back. They closed us down quickly and exploited the spaces that we left, just as they did to Arsenal. Maybe the way to defeat them, especially at Anfield, is to play a counter-attacking game yourself? Villa and Southampton broke back at them quickly and were able to get a result.
