Today's football.

Hmm. It keeps it interesting, for sure, but it really does highlight how much of a gap there is between the big 5 and everyone else. It is only really Everton who are the big outlier if you look at the resources at our disposal.

You have a point yes but numerous times this season I've seen those bottom teams beating the better sides. No easy points in this league and for once in many a year, the title race could go to any of the sides up there and god knows who will finish in those CL places..... same at the bottom, no idea who are going down. Palace and sunderland seemed dead and buried before xmas, the tide is changing.

Ten teams are flapping now and there is potential 6 pointers every week. Its great entertainment

Didn't go to the match in the end. It was gym or the match, and chose the gym

Caught the end of Sunderland match at the gym. Adam Johnson for England? I think so

Well on Palace as well. Bet you wish you hadn't sacked Pulis now eh Stoke?

can't do it based on two games, he's been poor for a long long while. would have him here on the cheap because he has a certain class. he's a better player than candidates like lennon, townsend and i'ver heard sterling be mentioned :s just like all of them lacks any consistency.

Not today's football but tomorrow's - I'll stick my neck out and predict Liverpool will have a hard time getting the three points off Villa.

Benteke has just re-familiarised himself with the net, and the Holt and Bertrand signings will give them a boost. They were given a chasing by Arsenal on Monday but ended that game doing ok. Four of their 6 wins this season have been away from home and 15 of their 21 points have been taken away from home.

Vault that if you want later.

Liverpool do NOT enjoy playing this lot.

Scoredraw, IMO.

Villa have a chance if they press them, gerard is gonna be playing deep if they can force him into mistakes and bent eek is on it they could get goals, unfortunately Liverpool may well score more!

Liverpool are going to get desperate as the screw turns even more this second half of the season: Chelsea, City and Arsenal wont slip on hoovering up the points. They'll race well ahead and the chase for 4th will be fierce.

They are going to buckle.
