Huth would not have replaced Shawcross, he'd have played with him, so they would still have been gifted their first 2 goals. Anyway, Huth isn't even that good, I doubt Suarez would have a problem turning him inside out. Butland wasn't at fault for any of the goals either, I doubt Begovic would have saved any of them. Butland was actually unlucky with the 5th after making a great save

Some of these posts really do go show that football rivalry makes even the most sensible and level headed people chat **** and lose all sense of rational thought. My manager is the most down to earth person you will ever meet, he supports spurs and is a very intelligent chap... but when it comes to football and arsenal he suddenly regresses to the intellect of a caveman. The hatred just takes over and he becomes a different person... from an outsiders perspective it's really quite weird and off-putting, not a good character trait to have but sadly its one which many footy fans suffer from.
Everytime i see someone label them as murderers etc i die a little inside, how hate filled do you have to be to blanket label millions of people murderers because of what a tiny percentage of fans did nearly 30 years ago or because one tit decided to drop paving stones on someones heads.
They could easily come back and label all of us racist because we had a dodgy reputation god knows how many years ago.

having said that stoke were woeful defensively n 3 of their goals were incredibly fortuitous but ur kidding urself if u cant admit that liverpools great strength is their firepower, and it is dangerous. most of the points available come against teams they should beat, they could have an awful record against the top 5 and still get top 4 from bein flat track bullies

Common sense tells you that Huth wouldn't make those mistakes mad by his deputy and that Begovic as one of the best PL GKs would have put a better diisplay in than his deputy.
If you dont think those two playing would have affected the result for the better for Stoke as the vast majority would then that, as they say, is your problem.
