From the referee's angle he can quite clearly see (or should be perfectly capable of seeing) Sterling going down AND leaning towards the opponent BEFORE any challenge is made by the defender.
Either referees are utterly corrupt or totally useless - you decide.
Then you only have to compare and contrast that penalty award with Osman being brought down TWICE before we get one!!!
