Ade in Manchester, via text: DM's biggest mistake for me is to openly admit your team is not good. Statements like "we need world class players, or getting new signings in January would enable us to challenge for the title" are uncalled for. It doesn't breed confidence within players when you are made to realise you are rubbish and could be on your way out soon.'

Knife to a gun fight

Wow, this is turning into a full blown crisis for Moyes if he gets dumped out of the COC by Sunderland. long way to go yet though. C'mon Gus!

They have a second leg at home, which they'll win solely based on having Rooney and Januzaj in the same team against the worst team in the league, but that's not really the point. This is a must win game for them after their recent atrocities and Moyes STILL can't get it done.

I wonder what it must feel like to be a Utd fan now, after 20 years of near enough non stop success winning the league last season to replacing their greatest ever manager with David "Wet Towel" Moyes, sitting 7th in the table and losing 2-1 to Sunderland from a dodgy penalty.

Out of all of the players on the pitch now how many would get in our team? I'd say maybe Januzaj, so maybe 1.

When was the last time you could say something like that with a United team playing?

De Gea would be the only one, Januzaj only looks good because of the horror that is unfolding elsewhere in the XI.

Though of course some of these players looked a lot better when Moist wasnt in charge, as has been said ad infinitum above.

Nothing dodgy about it. Cleverley tried to tackle him with his arse when he was already beaten.

It was moronic, not dodgy.

Utd have been a better team away from OT this season. It's far from certain that they'll be able to turn it on just on demand in front of their own fans.

anyway, thats what i mean when i say theres still a long way to go!

You'd take a few as squad players, but really there's just no one who stands out in that team apart from the young Belgian.

Rooney and Van Persie would obviously walk into our starting XI, and then I think Nani and Kagawa have quality but United just can't harness it.

On individual quality, quite a few. On form? 2or 3 at a push.

I reckon it was dodgy because it looked outside the area to me, the foul was nailed on but it looked like Johnson made sure he fell inside the area. Either way it's funny because that would never have been given last season against Ferguson.
