1) If Chelsea lose then both chelsea and liverpool are ahead of us, if they win only one are.

2) We won't catch Chelsea this year, we might catch Liverpool. End of the season, we need to worry about 4th, 5th and 6th spot and that means we need to worry and the rs, utd and spurs. Top 3 are gone. As things stand, we're 4th and I like that position.

3) I like watching those gits lose.

My party remains unpooped.

Completely disagree with that statement in its entirety. We can catch Chelski, we will catch Liverpool, regardless of this result, and we need to concern ourselves with our own position relative to spots 2 and 3 and even 1, more than 'hoping we can scrape' 4th.

just read this on bbc

  • After today Liverpool only have one away trip to a side currently in the top-eight. Easiest second half schedule by miles.

He's doing that alright mate, before the game he was asked about ours and the Sh1tes chances of top four and he almost completely ignored us and ranted on about them. T001.

Sounds like Paul Wilson: the only Evertonian on the Guardian's football writer staff who belittles us and talks up the Sky clubs.

I'd love Big Nev, Sharpy or Dunc to be mainstream pundits. They get it.

On the subject of top 4s, Bristol City are now top of the bottom 4 in league 1 after a 4, FOUR!-1 win.

What a nice day today is turning into.

Chelsea win needed here to show us in 4th place before we play stoke.

A win at stoke and potential new signings see us in the Champions league places....a headturner.

We'll see at the end of the season where we are.

If Chelsea win today and we finish 2 points behind them in 2nd place, I'll be gutted. But I can't say I'm holding my breath for it.

I'd rather be in the hunt for top 3 as I believe it will motivate the players more

You would rather have the top 3 cut adrift from us in order to keep the RS down.

Also, Id be as worried about Spurs and Utd as them.
