Sheffield United turned over again today (lost 5 of the last 6). Fans calling for Weir's head...Weir blaming his players....can't see that ending well.

Not looking good Dave, shame really, hasn't got a lot of management/coaching experience has he?

That Altidore decision was an absolute disgrace. Martin Atkinson is a woeful referee.

Very odd decision really.

If he'd blown whilst the players were still tussling i'd understand it. But he waited till they'd split, Altidore had just gained the advantage then he blew.

Just poor refereeing, the advantage rule has been around years now so Atkinson should have known better.

he gave a clear tackle a red card in a merseyside derby, being convinced by a known cheat in the process. atkinson should know better about a lot of decisions he gives; i'll never assume he should get anything right, it's a bonus when he does, that goes for pretty much every ref in the league.

Went along to Millwall-Derby today, sat in the away end with a few of my mates who support them.

Derby won 5-1 and it kicked off royally. Derby manager attacked, players getting coined, Millwall fans going bat**** crazy - really enjoyed it.

New owner who didn't hire him in place too. He's tried to play football in a league where you have to get it spot on with the right blend of players and he's fallen on his arse.

Unless he wins the next two, I reckon Weir will be sacked in the next few weeks and Moyes will take him to OT.

Speaking to a mate of mind who is a Blades fan. He seemed to think that the lack of signings in August has been the main reason for the bad start and that when Weir can put his hand in his pocket come January, he thinks he'll do okay

Doubtful whether Weir will last that long though
