I don't believe they have ever played in one of the 'elite' European competitions. I can't see them turning the opportunity down.

Ah well, Martinez usually keeps Wigan up - of course he gets them into that position in the first place.

They play a bit of pretty footy every now and then, but they do the most mindless of things when in position, and tonight I reckon it has relegated them. I'll never forgive them for this, we could have been rid of Newcastle for a season.

I'm not really bothered who stays up just wanted the Toon to go down.

I think Man City will rack up the biggest win in FA Cup history against these, and I don't think Wigan will come straight back up.

It's not that hard to play 'attractive' football if you completely ignore organising a defence.
