i thought he did get picked. I remember my brother saying he was going to start a friendly a couple of months back. If i remember rightly, he may have got injured so couldn't play

Think Del Bosque did say something about picking him for the Uruguay game, he came over to watch our game with them I think. But, Michu didn't make the squad.

Yeah Del Bosque came to the home game and left early. Shame for Michu that the game he chose to come to was a 0-0

I can't see him getting picked while he still plays for Swansea. Players who play for "bigger" clubs always tend to get picked. Our national team is no different. Ricky Lambert earned his shot a long time ago. Took a while for Jags to get picked as well
