Still all depends on Wigan tomorrow. If they cannot beat Swansea tomorrow they are down. I think they will draw with Villa final day, and their goal difference is much worse than Sunderland's. So if they pick up two more points from three games they're down. They HAVE to win tomorrow.

I'd prefer Newcastle to drop. However Sunderland getting relegated wins me 175 quid... hmm...

The relegation battle is fantastic this season.

Two weeks ago Sunderland beat us pretty easily and moved up to about 13th in the table. They had seemingly left behind the likes of Villa and Stoke to fight out the relegation battle. They weren't quite safe but they "only" needed one more win to make 40 points.

Now Villa and Stoke are putting pressure on the top half of the table, and a win for Wigan tomorrow night puts Sunderland in the bottom 3.

Sunderland making a great start to the 2nd half though.
