But if they didn't have him, then they would play different football. It is impossible for you to say that he single handedly won these games, as if he wasn't there then the game would of been different and they might even score more.

It's like saying Fellaini has single handedly won everton about 9 points. He hasn't. If he wasn't there, then they would playing different football with a different man.

Erm, no.

If Gareth Bale scores the only goal in the 80th minute in a 1-0 victory after a poor Spurs performance, then he single handedly won them that game. What could have happened if he wasn't playing is totally irrelevant.

According to the Beeb

Tottenham would be a place and 15 points worse off without the services of Gareth Bale, completely ruling them out of the running for a Champions League spot.
.
Table two also answers questions about so called "one-man" teams, a label that has been given to Tottenham this season.
Bale's 18 goals have accounted for 25% of their total points, Spurs have not won a game in which he has not scored since 1 January, and in the alternative table they would be 11 points off a Champions League spot without his goals.

nope just think we'd struggle with europa league football on thursday, then league on sunday with our small squad.

Champions league or nothing.

Oh wait your saying im a kopite. High larious

If that's true, then why is it that every time we've been in Europe in the last decade we've finished higher than when not in Europe ?

Well how on Earth can you say they are a one man team then? they could of been losing without their defenders. He can't take on a team by himself. Bale is a good player in a team full of 10 other good players. The phrase 'one man team' is ****ing ridiculous.

not europa league
