I couldn't believe it. He just bit me. I'm just happy I had my tetanus update recently.

I've asked for the purpertrator to be deported and quarantined.

Say what? Of course he does. He's the ref, the lone timekeeper for the match. Or does he wear two watches just for the hell of it?

Nope, 4th official mate. Ref decides if he plays on after the extra minutes have elapsed. Anyway, back to ratface..

Elbows in the face aren't part of the game. Raking your boots across someones calf isn't part of the game. Both of those are far more serious than a bite.

I get he is a class player, but he now has his summer get out clause after the "targeted media attack" on him to " drive him out".

The referee is the official timekeeper for the match, and may make an allowance for time lost through substitutions, injured players requiring attention, or other stoppages. This added time is most commonly referred to as stoppage time or injury time, while loss time can also be used as a synonym. The duration of stoppage time is at the sole discretion of the referee. The referee alone signals the end of the match. In matches where a fourth official is appointed, toward the end of the half the referee signals how many minutes of stoppage time he intends to add. The fourth official then informs the players and spectators by holding up a board showing this number. The signalled stoppage time may be further extended by the referee

£30m + for him and whatever clown pays anywhere near the £17m they want for Carroll.

Not bad business when you look at it.
