League is your bread and butter tbf and should always come first. Winning a cup is great for the moment it lasts, but ideally you should be putting everything you have into finishing as high as you can. If you can make it look like you're nearly at that top 4 finish, you'll probably have a better chance of attracting players.
We could easily challenge for both the League and the Milk Cup if we entered a proper team in both though. Why do we never try in the League Cup?
Shiite fans interviewed outside anfield on five live, not one scouse out of the 10 or so interviewed.

I don't expect every everton fan to be scouse mate, we have a good mix. They seem to have alot of fans from Ireland/down south traveling to home games based on them interviews on five live.I'm not Scouse.
I dunno. At this point, just being involved would be an achievement
I know saying that will upset a lot of the older fans, and rightfully so considering the success they've seen us have, but you have to be realistic about these things. Unless we start spending like a top 4 team, we aren't going to be a top 4 team. The teams above us are just too rich and we don't have the funds to match them. Hence, finishing 5th and playing in the Europa would be a genuine achievement and one we could be proud of even if we went out in round one. Just being there would be a minor victory
