Definitely held similar views on him since he come to England. He's regressed so much, too.

That's the competition record that stood for 17 years beaten then.

Before that Germany held it for beating San Marino 13-0 in 2006 in the qualification for Euro 2008. France have also beaten the record home win, which was Spain 12-1 Malta in 1981 for Euro 82. That however was a crucial fixture; Spain had to win by 11 goals and hope the Dutch would lose to qualify.

Spain would get to the final and lose 2-0 to the aforementioned France. That tonight was a kick in the park with France already through.
