Pep doesn't often make mistakes, but that Cole Palmer looks a really good player.

Wonder if Pep is thinking what if he hadn't sold him?
He wanted him and tried to keep him. Even told him he would get more minutes because Mahrez was leaving. Palmer was adamant he wanted to leave. so he let him leave. Anyone can leave if they no longer want to play and someone offers what City think they are worth.

Any reason in particular mate Palmer wanted to leave?

That wasn't even up for debate either, he loses the ball, is out of control, takes the players knee then gets the ball and the Scottish fella on commentary "yeah great decision referee who was 5 yards away from it".

You can't get a red card offence any clearer than that ffs but nothing will get mentioned. This is how the top clubs stay at the top, getting away with red card offences game after game
At least MOTD2 gave it some in-depth analysis. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

So who was the commentator from today ? he's the guy who did that comically over-the-top Manolas commentary that everyone jizzes over right ?

edit: Peter Drury ?

He has all these pre-prepared little poetic flourishes at the ready for every possible in-game scenario. Hate him generally but don't mind as much on the rare occasions he's covering us.

Having recently read what Wayne Barnes family went through after that fat scumbag rassie erasmus did his videos on referee's (purely to put pressure on them), at what point are managers going to brought to heel over their statements stoking up idiot football fanbases over referees? Do one have to have the death threats become a rea;ity but the gaffers stop acting out of pure self preservation and blaming refs for their own failures?

De Zerbi was right to say 80% of them are crap, we've all been saying the same.
