Deep deep hole this for United. Some very good players on paper but atrocious at the moment. And when you start buying real quality players to change things and immediately turn them into confused, weak, ineffective nothingness (Mount etc) you know you’re in trouble. Craving a period of consistency with a manager, but keep appointing the wrong manager.
