Ranking is pretty irrelevant, Porto have more than held their own tonight, as I say, they are 3rd is a "lesser" league.

Well in fairness European competitions are usually more of a wild card than not - the CL is just horrifically skewed towards richer teams currently. Personally for a "proper match" I'd wager the lower eurocomps are better - had to watch some Conference league matches due to work in the first 2 installments, honestly the footy's great like, you watch some decent players doing things differently, less of the cut and paste of the CL where you know all or at least half the finalists from the start and you'll defo get a few surprises from groups, etc.

Even with the favourites status - Roma now has a random rivalry with Bodo/Glimt as they've met a few times and it's always a great thing to see like, game's not gone.
