Dont really want Man U collapsing.

Whilst we are working on having a decent season to kick start the new managers regime and confirming 7th(or with luck challenging 6th) I'd prefer Che Man U Spurs and City be as strong as possible to keep those baxtards out the champs league.

Cant stand Jose tho. If the collapse happens and he gets booted Id be delighted for him.

Just as long as City win the league again, that'll do me. The Klopp wave over there is very strong, but it will break eventually and could do so spectacularly, as at Dortmund. If City can tide us over until then, we're golden.

I think United sticks with Jose until they’re out of the Champions League. Unless they go spiraling way down the table like Chelsea had before they sacked him. The problem is how hard it is to get a big name in during the season.

Yeah the basic hope is Man city to win it at a canter with them nowhere near and also tonking them home and away.

However spurs man u and che staying in and around them and taking points off them will make the season a lot easier to watch.

..I just don’t fancy City for the league this season. I think there will be a focus on Champions League and when it comes to the latter stages it’s so difficult to fight on two fronts. Last season’s Champions League semi finalists contained 3 teams who were nowhere near in contention for their domestic title. Only Bayern were and they got knocked out.

I fear it will finally be their year!!

I'd be inclined to think along these lines, but having heard Guardiola address this issue a couple of times, he seems intent on winning back-to-back titles, mainly because he (openly) doesn't seem to rate winning one league title and losing it the next season as a particularly great achievement. I'm sure he wants to win the CL, but I doubt he'd prioritise it over the league. I think he's after total domination, rather than going all out for each trophy, one at a time. He'll be after all 4 trophies and will be disappointed if he doesn't get them.

He also seems to be more about dominating (winning back-to-back titles) particular leagues in particular countries, rather than Europe and mentioned he would now try to do this here, as he'd already done it in Spain and Germnay, which again doesn't give me the impression he's going to let up in the league under any circumstances.
