Fact is, in the modern game, ALL Prem defences concede chances every game.

ManUre's defence looks a shambles.

Chelsea v Arsenal last night could have been 5 -all at half time.

Even Citeh conceded one at home to Huddersfield!

I know this sounds daft, but under limited funds, Moyes used to buy players on mentality - and it showed.

It feels like, these days, no thought goes into how the team will gel. It's all about shirt sales, and advertising.

It's not that in my view. It's that they've bought second-tier players time after time for too much money.

Their centre-halves and striker wouldn't get a game at an elite club, so it's hardly surprising that they fail to perform as an elite club. Too often are they an easily nullified mess from top to bottom, and I'd argue that Mourinho has got more out of that team than he had any right to since he became manager.

I mean the half-time wrap up on Sky says it all...
