Spurs qualifying with 8 points is astounding, they were lucky to scrape through that with poor teams like Inter and PSV there.

Poch for all his plaudits is truly really awful in Europe.

He needs to prove himself in Europe before the big guns come calling, i was always shocked that Real wanted him when he's won nothing and been abject in European competition.

Spurs will go out in the last 16 against one of the big guns but at least they will have CL football in their £1 billion pound debt albatross stadium.

They dominated barca at their place

What happens to Barca when they don't play Messi and Suarez shows how dependent on those two they are and also that they've really lost their old tactical identity and kind of just rely on individual brilliance to create goals now. Credit to Spurs but worrying for Barcelona as well.

And from what I've seen of Suarez recently he is definitely past his prime. They do have some good players in their ranks. They're just taking time to find their feet which is understandable at a club that size.

Problem you have pochettino could leave at the end of the season either united or Madrid.
Then of course there's kane 26 next year and with the stadium hampering the transfer budget he may leave aswell.

Suarez still produces at an elite level. I'm not concerned about the quality of players. Dembele is obviously a top level talent, Coutinho is at worst a useful playmaker who can score the occasional worldy, Arthur is someone I seriously rate and at some point they'll find the right combination of center backs. Where I see problems is how they set up, how they organize themselves out of possession and how their scoring of goals largely relies on Messi, Suarez or sometimes someone else to just be incredible. Like today where the goal comes from an exceptional Dembele individual effort.

I haven't watched much but they do look like they've lost their identity to me. On their day they can still destroy any team but you'd no longer have that feeling of hopelessness if you were up against them.
