How did we not beat Newcastle? Embarrassing.

Everton is seen as a ‘best of the rest’ team and teams outside the top 6 lift their game when they play us, as to them, it is a big game. After they play out of their skin vs us, they revert to type and typically lose their next game...like Newcastle just did.
I expect Watford will handily beat us on Monday but they’ll lose their game after us.
It’s a little odd: against RS these teams fold. Against us, they play like their kids’ lives are on the line....

I genuinely feel the also-ran teams fold against the RS and play with great resolve vs us. They know they can’t beat RS but Everton has a soft underbelly that can easily be got at.
