Hodgson is not the problem. The recruitment of the past three seasons has been shambolic. Too many utter crocks and no marks. We have such a thin squad we have to play an ineffective formation and our bench is barely Championship standard. Zaha is in a woeful run of form and is petulant as a result.
Tomkins got booked gobbling off down the tunnel at the end today and now misses next week.
We're not Palace any more. We've never had the best players, at our best we had the players who would run through brick walls and we'd give anyone a go. Not this lot.

How has Townsend been playing.
 
If Utd can beat them next week and we can draw against City. Spurs hang on here and win next week and Chelsea and Arsenal win there would only be 5 points separating the top 5. It wouldn't take much to change it all around. I remember Chelsea being big odds on favourites after 15 games several times and not even making the top 2.
 
Chris Wilders blades got back on track against Reading.Considering that they wouldn't be as rich, as other clubs in the championship, he has done a superb job at Sheffield United.Wednesday won't be going up this year, but Sheffield United would be a welcome addition to the top flight.
