I'd probably enjoy Hughes getting sacked more than Southampton getting relegated to be honest

They could still go down with someone else pulling the strings

Again, it's December

I'm not going to get too wound up over United winning a game of togger when our own fate is very much in our own hands

People need to chill out a bit

You're getting wound up by Hughes tbf mate.

He's a proper irrelevance to Everton. Whereas United's results are quite relevant.

I'm not wound up at all

If Southampton win I won't be bothered, mostly due to it helping Everton

I'm just not going to get agitated if they lose because it'll hurt Hughes

Basically, I don't see why it's a moral imperative for every Evertonian to be wetting their undergarments over Man United possibly winning a football match when there's still FIVE months of fixtures left to play

Every dropped point helps in a 38 game season, chief.

Anyone noticed how often McManaman just repeats the last few words the commentator's just said?

commentator :- ....many players short of confidence

McManaman :- ... yeah, short of confidence

What exactly does McManaman add besides being a half wit?

Who would have thought that Burnley 7th last year would be racing towards the championship with quite so much enthusiasm?

To be fair they did have the unwanted (was it really wanted Sean Dyche?) and massively poisoned chalice of the Europa qualifying rounds to contend with in their early season, but that early dip in form, perhaps caused by fixture congestion, has continued well into the season with possibly confidence hitting new lows by the week.

Also they massively outperformed last season and should really be a bottom half club anyway so couldn't expect anything like a repeat of last season, but they could be bottom of the league after the weekend if other results go against them and in the relegation zone regardless.

Europa League this year, Championship next year, eh Sean!!
They were utter stink today. I cannot think of three more damning words;
Dominated by Palace.
Who, btw, had 29 shots on goal. 29. I had a nosebleed.
