Arsenal win and I think that'll be the last we see of Bournemouth above Everton this season. Probably already the case with Watford now, you'd hope.

The 7th place trophy is within our grasp once more.

United are a mess and I'd honestly be disappointed to finish below them

Yeah need to keep Arsenal within our reach. Them and ManU are the ones we can finish above, 5th is defo doable

If this weren't Silva's first season and this season clearly being more of a rebuilding job, I'd agree wholeheartedly, but if we were to go majorly off the boil at some point this season and end up 7th (assuming United don't sort themselves out at any point this season), I couldn't for the above reasons be that critical of them.

7th is fine, but kinda expected being the best of the rest. Just if we are going to finish 7th I would like it so we're in play for say 5th in the final couple of weeks instead of being locked into the position w/ nothing to play for by March.

Definitely. Given the quality of the squad, relative to the rest of the league, 7th was the minumum and yet the gap is so enormous between 8th and 6th, that even challenging to get into 6th this season would qualify as a great season. This is of course assuming we don't see a major United/Arsenal meltdown at some point. I doubt either will happen though.

Been saying this since Sept. Bournemouth and Watford will lose point and back to mid to mid lower table.

Leicester and Wolves are more of a threat to 7th than Watford and Bournemouth imo but we really should start pulling away from these sides.

A win next weekend would be absolutely massive not only for the bragging rights but also it keeps pressure on Arsenal but also keeps Utd and the rest below us.
