Terrible game really. NI had the chances to win it but Randolph in goal was superb, and otherwise our Seamus was the ROI man of the match, hopefully not coming out of it too badly battered.

I know I'm clearly biased but only our Seamus, and possibly Duffy looked even half decent for ROI.

Thankfully Coleman didn't get the ball in positions to hurt us very often because the passing to him was abysmal.

I thought we played well. Again. But we keep missing absolute sitters. I can't remember an NI side creating as many good chances from open play, but we're scoring as few as the Sammy Mcilroy era currently. It's frustrating.

Let's face it we're both crap at the minute. NI should have won it as they had the 2 best chances which were both due to calamitous defensive errors from Duffy and then Lenihan. Duffy also had a gilt edged chance for us from a Brady delivery from a set-piece. Other than that it was poor which was to be expected as both teams have semi-important games in the next few days. Randolph MOM so I wouldn't have argued that the result wasn't fair if NI had won.

England lose and they're bottom and relegated with Croatia top

A 0-0 draw and it would mean Croatia relegated and England second, Spain top

Any other draw would mean England relegated and Croatia second, Spain top

Spain can't be relegated but only a draw would see them top the group

A draw of any score would still relegate Croatia as they have a -5 GD to England's 0 GD

I think H2H is the first tiebreaker. Since CRO score more goals away in two encounters, England would be relegated. Overall goal difference only matters if the score is 0-0. If rules werent changed again, that is...

You're right. England relegated with any scoring draw or defeat. Win the group if they win. Second if it is 0-0.
