i'd rather not look over our shoulder at bloody wolves. If lacazette or aubameyang get a big injury we'd have every chance of finishing above arsenal imo. We should be aiming for arsenal, not worrying about wolves, we're everton ffs.

so, i care about my own team first. They're not doing anything this season anyway. They're relying on refs to beat huddersfield and fulham, city and chelsea are smashing these teams. Just gets their hopes up if it's a good weekend anyway. They've played the bottom of the league team whilst city and chelsea are playing top 7 teams, it's hardly a comparison.

They have their moments, but no way on earth they should be as far from the top of the PL table as they are. The team is so much less than the sum of its parts.

Wolves are a decent oufit, have drew with Utd and only just narrowly lost to Spurs and are beating Arsenal.

I've said all season the only side we can catch this season is Utd in 6th. Im all for positivity but being realistic 7th is the aim this season ideally well ahead of whoever's sat in 8th. 6th spot above Utd would be fantastic.

7th is the minimum yes, but right now we're only 4 points off arsenal. Wolves will falter, they've started well, but still, we'll be well ahead by the end of the season when they get at least one injury. Don't think we'll finish close to arsenal, but right now it's an aim.
