Barca have just been sensible and slowed the play down whenever possible to avoid the early blitz. Why play expansive football and open yourself up to a spawny two or three goal blitz?

Since the Liverpool goal they've dominated the tie. They're playing it like they're 3-1 up half way through the second half, which they are.

To be fair, Brian Clough would always openly root for the English side in European games. It wouldn't be as bad if they did it for everyone. If you watch clips of the 85 CWC Final, when Everton are 2-0 up he actually says "I think we'll do it now"

The problem is that it only seems to be for Liverpool when they get this amped up these days
