Rafael and nuno will try and keep it tight, best liverpool will get against them is maybe +3 goal difference, so if they score another 2 tonight and +6 next 2 games then they are only + 3 ahead of city, but city must win every game anyway so will always have +1 for their remaining games

No, I am wondering, given the current and prospective points tallies, if it can actually come down to GD.

One of them would have to drop points for that to happen but as they are not on level points, it might not be mathematically possible for them to finish on equal points.
