Why do refs fall for it? If I was a ref the only way I'd give a pen would be if the defender literally punched the forward.

They're all at it all the time.

He can't, but at the same time nearly all 50/50 decisions (and some that weren't even challenges...) have gone United's way. Fair do's and all that.

True.

The refs are no Friends of Everton.

It's just that it's Arsenal at home, getting blatant decisions not go their way and Utd, the away team, getting dubious ones their way, just cuz they're United.
