It was rather shocking how content Liverpool were with a draw, considering that it just meant more dropped points for them. It’s like they’re treading water hoping they can just wait for the season to end while they’re still in first.

I always like (well laugh at) my RS mates take on their games. He reckons Man U parked the bus and played for a point, Herrera should have been sent off in the first 15 minutes for 2 yellow card offences, the ref allowed Salah to be pulled, dragged and barged all over the gaff without taking any action.

I can't watch the RS (unless they're getting beat, then I'll have a little gander) so was my RS mates take on the game how it really was?

Don't agree myself.
Pre match, a bang in form United at OT is as hard as it gets for the rest of the season.
A draw was fine.

The inability to take advantage during the game was crucial though.
The injuries meant that game was there for the taking.

Getting someone booked is no achievement, particularly when it's Milner, who gets away with murder a lot of the time anyway. Over 45 minutes he was anonymous - didn't impose himself on the game in the first half whatsoever. There was an improvement in the second half...
let me repeat in the first half alone he:-

  1. had a shot on target blocked by van dijk which led to a corner
  2. put a cross in over for lukaku which was headed behind by van dijk which led to a corner
  3. set up the pass to lukaku which led to man utd's best move of the entire game

anonymous in the first half....
