Bayern seemingly only want to play on the counter. Smart tactic overall but you can’t help but feel given the state of that RS defence that they would be remiss not to push for at least one away goal. They probably back themselves to win at the Allianz though, which given Klopp’s away European record is probably a smart strategy. It’s most important they don’t get blown away this half and have to overturn something second leg.

They’ve not played into Liverpool’s hands unlike some of the frankly ridiculous stuff we saw from Porto and Roma last season. Will take a very good performance to beat Bayern over two legs regardless of why form they’re in but you would of thought they were some European minnows the way kopites have been talking about them before this game.
