@Alan Whittle : What exactly was the issue with Sörloth at Palace. The few games I've seen him play for Gent he was good (playing at the RW in an attacking team). The only issue being that he should have scored more, needs a lot of chances.
In 50+ years of watching Palace he gets into my top 5 of worst players. Terrible positional play, no pace, can't finish. Genuinely nice bloke and a trier but I thought he was a League 1 player. Not one Palace fan I know or sit near thought he was anything other than poor.

Ah I see; well you probably won't have issues selling him after his loan- if he continues like this. Scored twice and gave two assists, in 4 games. Probably helps that his coach is the one that launched him (he's playing him on the right side because he says that he isn't good when playing with his back to goal). He was very good against Club Brugge, a team with players that will end up at a higher level and played a good CL campaign.

Also scored against Anderlecht but what can you say, very poor team this year so that doesn't say a lot.

I'm genuinely pleased for him. It sounds like we were playing him out of position although it didn't matter which way his back was facing when he was with us. He was out of his depth.
