They know how to win European games

I'll give them that.
Every player seemed up for it
Karius, Henderson, Lovren, Arnold, Milner, Chamberlain. All those bang average players yet they somehow managed to snuff de Bruyne, Silva, Sane, Fernandinho, Jesus completely out of the game. ffs.

Champs league again proving to be boring, all quarter finals done after the first leg, so we have European and Spanish champions, Spanish champions elect, German champions... And ermm, a team that beat Cardiff nearly ten years ago.

"champions" league

Bbc churning out records for City drawing a blank and first game in two years without a shot on target

... Points are a bit mute when an incorrect decision from the official are the reason for both of them being the case tonight.

The bitters never seem to win these big European ties on merit, they always need a bad decision or two to go there way.

Let's not be stupid here. City utterly folded just like they did last time around due to a 15 minute blitz. Moaning about marginal call as the cause for a defeat is ridiculous. Forget about Salah being slightly offside and question what on earth Kyle Walker is doing dawdling on the ball in his 6 yard box with Firmino breathing down his neck, ask what the Fook City are doing letting Chamberlain have a free shot at goal after last time he banged one in and lastly ask how Laporte got isolated against arguably one of the in form players going.

You win the big European games on merit. Just like that lot tonight. City got bigged up, Champions elect, can score against anybody, Pep factor ect ect ect guess what? Folded under pressure. For all the stick he gets Klopp and his one trick pony can produce stuff like this. I remember his Dortmund side smashing Madrid in similar fashion.

Still the tie isn't over no matter what people say. Unlikely of course but it's not like crazy stuff doesn't go on in football.

I imagine City will go two up in the second leg.. then Salah will score and it's tie over.

When Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012, they became the first London to win the competition and the team had that London identity within it, with the likes of Terry, Lampard, Bertrand, Cole representing them that year. This City team is the definition of plastic, with 11 mercenaries bought with oil money.

Meh who cares, if it weren’t for City Liverpool would be challenging for the premier league.

The one thing they had was pace all over the park - two young full backs never tested so bombed forwards, two fast wingers - competitive fast midfield - there shaky defence never tested - are you watching Fat Sam ????....
pressure, pressure gets you goals, and a dodgy refs assistant like!

And Salah, Mane, Firmino eat, breath and sleep Liverpool...

the hell are you saying? That's modern football...
