United are awful.. and alls Sanchez does is give the ball away constantly, been terrible since hes gone there. Liverpool will probably get Sevilla next round now

Shakhtar and Fonseca out.

They can hold their heads high there. Played some really good footy tonight and were never overawed by the occasion. Beaten by a typical Dzeko goal. Had Roma on the ropes hanging on for the win in their own back yard. Fair play.

Fred had a stinker tonight as well, made a huge difference

The best party spoiler of media darlings in world football. But apart from that he doesn’t half play retrograde, dull, negative football.

Not scoring an away goal in Europe= danger. They’re a better side than what City and the RS faced, but not so much better that this isn’t a shock.

Any excuse.

Out of the current Quarter finalists, 2 from Spain, 2 from Italy, 2 from England

Just shows that the Premier League is competitive when put up against the better leagues in Europe, despite what the naysayers say

2 out of 5....

the prem has always been competitive. But christ for the cash spent here it should be more than that

best league in the world lmao

Legitimate trash tier comment this. How does Sevilla beating Man Utd in anyway impact the quality of a domestic league table?

Clue - It doesn't. The sooner people get that through their heads instead of trying to be funny the better.

Could and should of easily been 4/5 but in knockout football you get punished and put out in seconds. Spurs dominated Juventus for the vast majority of their tie, created all kinds of chances yet went out in a flash 2 minute spell. Remember what Chiellini said? It's all about experience and mentality.

Pogba must surely be the worst signing in, well, history.

100m. 300k a week. And he's absolutely diabolical and has a disgusting attitude.

They basically committed 160m to his in terms of his fee and wages over a 4 year period.

Shocking.

He's got no positional awareness at all. Creates havoc in their defensive system when he just strolls about dabbing and passing the ball out of play.
