chucked a fiver on RS not finishing top 4 at 10's the other day, did it at the right time because united have won 2 games in a row since and sewn up 2nd spot now. Just posted in our match thread 12 first team players we don't have on the bench. Can you imagine the RS having to deal with the injuries we have over the last two years? They'd be borderline relegation, their squad is so so weak outside the "fab 4" or whatever it's referred to know.

what i don't understand is that mourinho shows every season how to play against them, limited defensive minded managers like pullis and pardew show how it's done for crap teams as well, but you still get about 15/16 managers in the prem clueless of how to play klopp's RS. they haven't changed in the whole time he's been here, the same strengths and the same glaring weaknesses. But yet idiots like howe and wenger will always remain playing straight into their hands.
Only watched the 2nd half but they were absolutely toothless against solid defensive organisation, they could still be playing next week and not score.

zzzz, same as the other five thousand posts like this before each of the two derbies. Both of which should have been drawn 1-1 had it not been that farcical penalty they got in the FA Cup.

So Chelsea or Arsenal winning one of the European trophies by themselves would not stop the fourth placed team going in.
But if both were to win......only the top three go in the CL

They'd probably get in via one of the Norwegian CL spots, or some other arcane method.

Jose is the only manager who consistently knows how to play against Klopp. He doesn't make it pretty but as others have pointed out he doesn't fall into the same trap as Wenger and to certain extent pep who play to Liverpools strengths.

Thought yerniteds defence was excellent. Switched on and aggressive. Our pass selection let us down too many times and Diane Lovren reverted to type. Gets sucked in on physical battles . Can switches off at critical moments. Maybe deserved a draw but can't complain about result.
