‘David de Gea has been Manchester United’s standout performer which says everything. 0-0 in some cases is a good result, but Man Utd will need to score twice at Old Trafford because I back Seviilla to score twice. I'm absolutely certain of that’

What? What an odd thing to say. He backs a team who just failed to score at home to score 2 away? Biased RS pr***

It's football though isn't it? Sevilla are poor away until they aren't, Juventus don't concede at home until they did. You get the picture.

For me if you are Man Utd and you have spent all kinds of money on the side you go and lay your marker away from home just like City and Liverpool did. Fair enough both sides played weaker teams than Sevilla (probably up for debate?) but come on that was painful to watch.
I don't disagree but if they go through which they will all will be forgotten.

Feels like I watched a completely different game than the one the commentators described. Man Utd in ''complete control''....a ''masterclass away performance''...clean sheets, clean sheets and more clean sheets. What about an away goal?

In reality they were a world class De Gea save from being beaten, created nothing all night and just looked slow. Sevilla are a score draw away from knocking them out which is hardly some miracle type result. No doubt Man Utd will be the favourites and rightly so but away goals are the true killer of the knockout stages.

BT was it ? No doubt more than a tad biased.

I watched it on RTE and Utd got absolutely hammered for being negative and boring, which they were.

Yeah BT. It was just weird to hear them say ''Man Utd have nothing to fear'' and then the rest of what I said what you quoted. I mean whilst it's 0-0 or even 1-0 in the second leg every time Sevilla come forward the crowds arse will be twitching.

Normally I'd root for the underdogs (Seville) to win a match like that but they were disgusting. Some of their dives were disgraceful. Can't believe they weren't punished for them. Selfish players with little finishing quality. Did not look Champions League level at all.

True. They need to seriously improve though, that type of performance will see the European elite bury them in the first leg.
Knowing the luck of both Utd and Jose I wouldn't be surprised if they win it without having to play any of the elite especially given the teams that had to play each other this round.

Utd have a good defence and a great goalkeeper. Normally that wouldn't be enough but no team look devastating in attack this year.

Another odd thing about what he's saying is that Man U will be knocked out, because if Sevilla scored twice, then Man U would have to score 3, not 2.
