Today's Football 2017-18 Season

..amazing at the bottom of this league, 3 different teams in the bottom 3 this morning. Huddersfield were in it and won, Newcastle were in it and won and now Southampton are in it. Crazy. The gap between us and 18th looked healthy this morning, now it’s not looking so good.

We will be no closer to 18th than we were yesterday morning. And in fact a point further clear if Southampton lose. There is one fewer game left. We are nearer 40 points. We have gained a place in the table.

Regardless of all other results I see this as a successful weekend and we should be looking at 7th not 18th.
