Another "Football started in 1992" with that Kane record. I'm sure Dixie bettered him way back when but over the years other great players like Greaves probably did too. Really don't get why Sky and the like can't at least acknowledge great players of the past.

Greaves record is ridiculous. 334 goals in 478 games for Chelsea and Spurs.

It really is but the only striker who really gets mentioned anymore is Shearer. Many great strikers came before Shearer with just as good or better records.

That's another one. If I recall he had his career ended by injury that probably would have been easily fixed in the current era. Just in general this whole "Premier League record" thing ignores so many great players through the years

193 Goals in 147 games or something.

Never gets mentioned of course though.
