So, after all that, we stay where we were this morning then. Guess that must be ok.
yes, good results for us. I think Burnley and Leicester are safely out of the relegation mire so we need eleven other teams to keep floundering. The only poor result for us today was West Ham beating Chelsea (Swansea winning was fine because it suppressed West Brom, similarly Huddersfield suppressing Brighton).

But perhaps I'm overthinking all this...

I think you are a bit!

..at this stage it’s more about us than the others. If we stand still those from behind will catch up. We’re in a position now where we need to keep progressing.

Yeah, but if we dont play and stay the same, that is good, I think. Redundant if it goes wonky tomorrow mind.

..ideally we need 3 to be detached at the bottom but that’s not happening. 4 games before a Christmas, we have to break 20 points to keep our heads above water.

Quietly confident me mate. And in my survey of 2 other Blues on my round today, Portishead is firmly in the "Sound As" camp.

Kane the first English player to score 50 goals in a calendar year since. ....Dixie Dean

Needs 3 more goals in the next 4 games to equal Shearers 36 prem goals in a calendar year.
Only trophy you are likely to get this season....come back when you've won the firstdiv/prem title..........Don't even mention Dixie in the same breath as kane.......
