As part of my crumbling interest in professional football, which I really regret, having invested 40 plus years of my life in it, I find myself watching my national team, England, not bothered if the overrated unresilient prima donnas win or not, but rather in the hope that Henderson gets snapped in half.

Big day today here in CONMEBOL country. Brazil is in, Venezuela and Bolivia are out. Everyone else still mathematically alive, though Uruguay are all but guaranteed in, given their last two matches are VZ and Bolivia.

Why do commentators always get serious and critical when a pitch invader comes on ? Trying to make out it's really bad whilst the entire crowd is cheering and loving it.
