Mate, just take a look at the quality of the last two teams Madrid have played and tell me that they should fear a team that's a level below those two?

Madrid have never relied on outwitting opponents on tactics: why should they? They simply assemble the very best players in the world and sweep them aside. That's their tactic: buy big game players...and guess what - It works.

If Vasquez doesn’t play I’ll feel more confident. I think Benzema is the key, he does so much off the ball and allows Ronaldo the freedom

I pray they take an absolute beating

If Bayern had Liverpool's strike force, they would have hockeyed Real. Real were dire and they were poor in Germany and poor in both legs against Juve.

Juve and Bayern were the better sides and Liverpool's pact with the devil means there will be no soft penalties for Real and if Marcelo starts playing rugby again, a penalty will be awarded against him.

Prepare yourself.

They will be going round town in an open top bus and we will announce an extension to Sam's contract.

I’m hoping Sam will be on the bus signing the contract fist pumping the crowd myself

Teams Liverpool have ‘blown away’ this season:

Arsenal at home
City at home twice (fortuitous offsides aside)
Porto away
Roma at home
Dross teams in the prem bottom 13

Teams they haven’t ‘blown away’

Spurs home and away
United home and away
Arsenal away
City away
Chelsea at home
Sevilla home and away
Everton three times
West Brom three times

Teams that haven’t ‘blown away’ Real Madrid this season:

PSG
Juventus
Bayern

Liverpool are a good team and capable of winning as Madrid do have weaknesses but claiming that they are favourites for some sort of cricket score win is bizarre. There’s no evidence for it at all. Klopp’s Liverpool is historically worse outside of Anfield. Real will be wary but will consider it an easier chance to win it than the last three they have won.
Hope you are right mate.

Mentally, I am expecting the worst.

If it does not happen, I will be delighted

Liverpool fans as only they can (along with their sycophants in the media) awarded themselves the trophy almost as soon as the draw for the group was made. They’ve lapped up the self indulgence and arrogant boasting all the way through the easiest CL run of all time but as it stands, contrary to popular opinion they’ve won nothing yet. The task is less for them as they’ve had complete pony sides so far but they still have to go and win it now against the best team in Europe on a neutral ground over 90 minutes. If they do it then fair enough, but Gerrard and the likes can prematurely celebrate as much as they want, putting a few past Roma and Porto is far different to silencing those inner demons if they run out against Madrid in Kiev.

Problem is Liverpool have got results against all the top teams, teams who try to play against them..... Weaker teams are happy to sit back and frustrate Liverpool.... Its hard to run at teams who sit deep.. Madrid will be open and attack Liverpool, which plays right into Liverpools hands.....and as bad as Liverpool are defensively, Madrid are worse
Ok mate. That;s your opinion.

I'll just stick to believing the most successful team in the world and the champions 11 times have more than a shot at this. :bye:

Let’s all remember that Liverpool’s defence consists of 2 dodgy keepers, a young lad in Robertson and Terrence Trent D’arby.

Real Madrid won’t be too worried.

Bale in a CL final...that's all he does. He'll get in there again and do it too!

Oh yeah, you can’t discount their pact with the devil, they weren’t fit to lace the boots of that Milan side in 05 but since then quality has usually told. Milan Chelsea City Sevilla, they’ve lost all of them, they lost two title challenges to United and City. Sometimes it does go their way but kopite counting number 6 already is very silly given the size of the task still to do.

Anyone who has annual leave free would be well advised to take a fortnight in Vladivostok starting the day before the champions league.

Real Madrid have deteriorated massively in the last 12 months.

Liverpool will blow them off the pitch.

Hahaha yeah I could see the bitters winning away at psg, juve and bayern in consecutive games.

Real are not the best team in Europe this year.

Not even close.
