..it was often the case in the ‘old days’. The likes of Ray Wilson was a converted winger and I understand Tommy Wright was an inside forward. I often wonder why others don’t use that option.

Keith Curle was a pacy winger at Bristol Rovers. Bristol City bought him, might have been a free even, and converted him to a full back. Terry Cooper was the manager iirc.

Ended up getting England caps when he was at, er, Man City? Someone anyrate.

Like you say mate, its not new, just the hipsters prefer revolving pivots and moving into transition.

..I think Huddersfield are a knocking bet for relegation. I don’t back short-prices or teams to go down but they are odds against and have much worst gd. Their last two games are against Man City and Arsenal. Their saving grace might be Southampton (3 points) and Swansea (2 points) bridging the gap.
Think soton have a few matchwinners that will keep them up, I fancy Huddersfield like yourself not to pick up another point, can see Swansea doing the same though!

Huddersfield looked the worse team I have seen - it depends on other teams around them to win games as I can't see them winning anymore games lef and their GD is worse!

Swanseas last 2 games are home to Southampton and Stoke,I think they would take that

On paper, yes, it's dead tough calling this.
I obviously live down on the south coast, and that win yesterday gave saints a huge boost.
Think they could turn us over if I'm honest.

I could pick a saints team to beat us..

It wouldnt surprise me if they did, just think Swansea have their own future and the other two in their hands,if they win one of them then they are safe and basically leave that team right in it

Swansea even having a sniff is all down to that manager.

Fair play, he seems bonkers like, but they were done at Xmas.
Yeah hes done a decent job, they looked dead and buried at one point, they seem to just be stumbling around at the bottom the last couple of seasons though, think he will have a melt down next season,he seemed to fall out with a few people at Wednesday after a decent season

I'd actually rather play Liverpool or arsenal, as mad as that sounds.

If I was Swansea like, not Everton.
It's the time of year when the bottom teams pick up points against sides they wouldn't normally for sure, so I hear you. That said if you're playing the two sides below you a draw can be as effective as a win

The league table is pissed this season.
Mark Hughes is mainly responsible.
It's all odd.

Be the same again next season.
Fixtures come out. Ponseca loses his first 3 as our gaffer against Cardiff, Burnley and Wolves.
He's sacked, and we ask for Sam back.
