Anyone think the standard of UCL football has dropped?

not just the CL, all football. I don't watch any of it these days, just everton, when i can be bothered. It's just turned into a bit of a stale sport, nearly every game at least one of the teams is set up really defensively. If you think in world football the amount of world class defenders, you're struggling to name 10, it's so dire. Burnley are 7th in the prem, that shows the extent of how poor our league now is. We're 8th, we really could not have been any worse than we have been this season and we're still bloody 8th!

Champs league i think has suffered with all the good teams playing eachother. The RS have had an easy ride all the way through not having to play any heavyweights then you look at Real who have had to play Dortmund and Spurs in their group, then PSG, then Juve and now Bayern. If they get to the final it'll be their second easiest game of the competition which is bizzare.

Too much money at stake. Dropping into the Championship can be a disaster; clubs owned by countries/Zquillionaires.

Shame the only game most people outside England ever sees from that league is the promotion playoff final, which is almost always terrible. Rarely do you see a team really go for it in that game.
