Might aswell just give them the trophy before the start of next campaign. It’s just sad how they manage to go through every single time with a last minute penalty or some crazy controversy.

Pen or not, anyone saying it's a red card clearly doesn't know the rules of football.

Double jeopardy has applied for almost 3 seasons now. If it's a pen it cannot be red unless there was clearly no attempt to play the ball.

Whether it was a pen or not (not) in a situation like that would it be so hard for a ref to take a proper look at a replay before potentially making a bad decision and ruining a great game and thousands of fans dreams? It was clearly a touch and go decision, don't see how the red can (barely) see that in real time and decide penalty 100%. Ah well, another year another let off for Madrid.

He gives him a shove then hooks his leg around. Wasnt even the leg, more the shove, which is why he jerks forward, it was stupid from the defender.

Firstly it's never a shove. It's a slight nudge in the back in the box. It had no pressure. Its just standard defemding. There's things unpunished that are a million times more aggressive every set play.

Secondly, Vasquez is on his way down before initial contact, and then parallel to the ground by the time the leg comes round, and there wasn't even contact.

I'v never seen anyone in such a guilt edged position stop, plant their feet, and buckle their knees to throw themselves, cause they thought a challenge was coming, when the ball was right there to bury.

Not sure what Buffon was doing. Yeah he was aggressive but to say he manhandled him is a massive overexaggeration.

And UEFA will want the worlds biggest football star , and his beautifully built upper body, in the final . So it doesn't matter who RM get in the semi.

I personally thought it was a soft pen. The red card was deserved, but I can understand the anger and frustration shown by the Juve players.
