Listening to Southampton fans this morning. What a bunch they are.

They don't seem a happy lot at the moment at all. Resigned to VVD leaving. But I think what I'm most surprised about is their dislike for Redmond, Rodriguez and (@Mikey_Fitzgerald ) Shane Long.

I think it's a bit of Bolasieitis; the Saints fans expected more of him. We have the same issue with Andros Townsend who has been really underwhelming.

He does lose the ball a fair bit but he's still only 22 and settling into a new team and cost a relatively meager 11m, always been impressed with him in the England youth teams.

I can understand that one a bit more as Townsend had such a good half season last year and is an established player so should have been able to settle quicker. But then Townsend has always frustrated me!
